You Li is the first China Scholarship Council visiting student to graduate from the Doctoral Cotutelle program which highlights international research collaboration between international partner universities. He worked with Naser El Sheimy in the Schulich School of Engineering and his research focused on developing high-precision navigation algorithms for sensors in smartphones, watches and glasses that transfer information like location, speed and orientation of the user.
