Faculty of Veterinary Medicine grad student Sarifa Lakhdhir has been accepted into a one-year small animal rotating internship at Iowa State University. Lakhdhir went on the northern rotation this year with professor Susan Kutz, volunteered for a couple of years at a veterinary clinic, and took two years of biological sciences at UCalgary to get her prerequisites.
