Move-in Day
Our Move-in day guide has everything you need for a successful first day on campus, including schedules, directions, and other important details.
Fall Move-in 2026
Full move-in details, including information specific to your building, move-in time, and Welcome Week events, will be emailed to you on August 10.
The first day you can move into residence is Sunday, August 23, but you are not required to move-in this day. It is highly recommended that first-year and those that have not lived in residence before, move-in on this date. It is highly recommended that all residents move-in prior to September 1, which is the first day of classes.
More information about move-in 2026 will be out July.
Winter and Spring/Summer Move-ins
Three easy steps to moving in to Residence:
- Pick up your move-in package
Pick up your move-in package and room keys at the Campus Service Centre located in International House. Photo ID is required. Temporary parking is available in the loop in front of the building. - Move into your new home
Moving carts are available at the Campus Service Centre to help you. - Get to know your new neighbours
Move-in During School Year
If you are moving into residence outside of the main fall move-in dates, you will need to check-in at the Campus Service Centre during office hours. If you are arriving outside of office hours, please contact the Campus Service Centre to see if there is availability for after hours check-in.
Make sure that the Campus Service Centre is aware of your move-in date, so they are able to check you in properly. To make your check-in smooth:
- Make sure you have signed your Residence Agreement, through your Resident Portal.
- You have photo ID
Once you have moved in, make sure to read the Now What Guide, to help you figure out your new home.
