Application to apply for

The BC Young Farmers Scholarship supports the next generation of agricultural leaders by providing annual financial assistance to B.C. residents aged 19–40 who are pursuing post-secondary education or training in agriculture.

While we welcome all applicants who fall within the eligibility criteria, preference will be given to:

Those affiliated with a member of a BCAC member association (includes members, a child of, or an employee of). See list of BCAC members
Those pursuing a career in primary agriculture or aquaculture (e.g., shellfish, finfish, kelp)

Award description

  • Resident of British Columbia (proof required)
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident (proof required)
  • Between the ages of 19-40
  • Enrolled in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program (proof required) related to agriculture
  • New or returning student

Faculty: Arts, Science

Year entering: 1st

Citizenship/residency: Domestic
