Application to apply for
The BC Young Farmers Scholarship supports the next generation of agricultural leaders by providing annual financial assistance to B.C. residents aged 19–40 who are pursuing post-secondary education or training in agriculture.
While we welcome all applicants who fall within the eligibility criteria, preference will be given to:
Those affiliated with a member of a BCAC member association (includes members, a child of, or an employee of). See list of BCAC members
Those pursuing a career in primary agriculture or aquaculture (e.g., shellfish, finfish, kelp)
Award description
- Resident of British Columbia (proof required)
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident (proof required)
- Between the ages of 19-40
- Enrolled in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program (proof required) related to agriculture
- New or returning student
