Professor Martin Olszynski was cited in the Supreme Court of Yukon decision on the case R. v. Beets, 2018 YKSC 21.
Martin's paper, ”, (2015) 40:2 Queen’s L.J. 705 – 740, was cited, allowing the judge to conclude that the de minimis maxim could be raised as a defence to that strict liability offence.
