New publishing agreement transforms access to research
On April 8, the announced it had signed a three-year, read-and-publish agreement with
The agreement, funded by CRKN member libraries, entitles UCalgary authors to unlimited open-access publishing with no article processing charge.
Agreement details are available (select Elsevier).
The highlights of the agreement are:
1800+ journals available for publishing open access at no cost to authors
2300+ journals available for reading at participating CRKN member libraries
This is a great example of CRKN members leveraging their collective negotiating power to transform access to research!
