How to Write a Grant Proposal
With the lockdown, it may be difficult for supervisors to guide their grad students in proposal writing. Dr. Michael Barry, Professor, Chair Land Tenure and Cadastral Systems, did two videos on how to write a one page proposal and a five page proposal to the FIG Foundation as per the link below, which may be useful.
Dr. Barry has used an interdisciplinary project as the example as it鈥檚 the most difficult grant application that he has found to write. The videos do cover the basics of grant writing and some of the pitfalls based on Dr. Barry鈥檚 own experience and the grant applications received through the FIG Foundation.
