It is led by Dr. Mariana Bento (Biomedical Engineering) and includes researchers from across the University of Calgary as well as international collaborators in Brazil and Switzerland. The project addresses significant philosophical questions about equity, bias, fairness, and harm in addition to epistemological questions about evidence and simulated data.
